Why Watch Online Video?

Did you know that network TV shows placed online and sports on regular TV have similar viewer ratings? Sounds shocking right? According to the April 2013 research report by The IAB and GfK, 32% of the monthly viewers of online TV shows said they prefer to watch TV shows online because there are a lot of older shows and episodes online that are not available on regular TV. Also stating that 1 out 4 viewers stream online video to cut around the cost of paying for cable TV service. For example, TV shows like 30 Rock and The Walking Dead can be found on sites such as ABC.com or HBO.com.   Here's a great scenario. It's a great day because the season premiere of your favorite TV show airs tonight on cable television. Unfortunately, you will stuck at work while all your friends are at home texting each other as they are enjoying the TV show. Whether we admit it or not, we've all been in that situation before and that's why watching online video has become very popular. Its no surprise that the most common reason people watch online video is to catch up on an episode of a TV show aired on regular TV. As revealed in IAB's new research report, 44% of online TV viewers stated that they prefer to watch online television shows based on their own schedule. Who doesn't? Do you have any questions? Hiring a Professional Video Company

If you want to make a professional video, you need to hire a professional video production company, what do you look for? What do you ask? Here are some basic criteria you should consider: 1. How long has the company been producing videos? 2. Who are some of their clients? 3. What kind of reputation does the company have? Check them out at the Better Business Bureau’s website. See how they stack up. 4. Ask for samples of their work. Is their work in alignment with your objectives and your quality standards? 5. How quickly can they turn your job around? 6. Talk with them. Are they friendly? Do they communicate well? Do they seem concerned about your success? Does what they say make sense? Are they willing to work within your budget? That wraps up our series on what to consider before producing your video. I hope you have enjoyed and benefited from it. Graphics

Graphics and text can be quick and inexpensive or quite the opposite. Cost is determined by the amount of time needed to do the work. So there’s always a balance between what you need versus what you want. Sometimes companies charge more for motion graphics produced with programs such as Motion or After Affects because this is a specialized aspect of editing that takes much skill to do well. We charge the same for all post production work, but you would be wise to make sure you aren't being charged extra for motion graphics. OK. Now that you have a better understanding of what it will take to make your video, you’re ready to take the next step – choosing the right company to help you produce it. Music

This is generally dealt with in post production, during the edit. But getting sign-offs on music at the pre-production stage is often a good idea. You never know how it will affect the rest of the video if someone puts the kibosh on the Rocky theme or some other music you wrote your script around. Licensing music is cheap; around $150 for a song, depending on your usage. To download all of these tips right now and get the entire Guide:
