Someone in Los Angeles made a music video that pushes all sorts of interactive boundaries. The video is for an up-and-coming rapper called Shin-B. The project was created by an amateur video production company called DuNo Tran. The video has appeared on television and around the web, but it probably isn’t going to go viral any time soon. While it’s interesting and rather unique, it isn’t exactly groundbreaking stuff. Or maybe it is, judge for yourself.
This isn’t the most impressive song or the most groundbreaking video, but the producer’s use of QR codes in production is a very interesting decision, and a thoughtful way of to create interactivity around a single product. It would surely take a lot of time and effort to go through every code that appears in the video. But if a viewer is passionate, curious, or somehow invested in the material, it’s likely they would take some time to explore the different codes and see what happens.
Using QR codes, YouTube hotlinks, or some other method of redirection could be an effective method for businesses to promote brand loyalty and interactivity during production. A video production company can further assist you in the making of a video with redirection.
