The hip humor site Buzzfeed is joining forces with the more traditional news outlet CNN to create a new YouTube channel. It’s obvious why CNN would want to work with Buzzfeed—the meme and list site caters to the 18-35 year-old demographic networks crave. So far the YouTube channel only has three videos, which seems to perfectly marry the two partners. One of the videos, “Amazing Rescue Moments on CNN”, gives you the gripping news from Cable News Network in the list format Buzzfeed readers are so fond of. Hopefully we’ll see some more humor from the channel in the future. Maybe “Top Ten Anderson Cooper Cat Moments”? Whatever comes from this interesting and exciting videography partnership is bound to get a lot of views. With the intention of three social and sharing-friendly views a week, this is all but destined to be a successful YouTube channel.
