How to Use YouTube to Leverage your Brand

YouTube is obviously a video sharing website, but have you ever thought of it as social media? Just as you link your business Facebook, Twitter and other social media bookmarks to one another, incorporate your YouTube video production page as well. You’ll only get more views that way and be able to leverage your brand to the right audiences.

When you tweet the link to your video, ask for RTs. But make sure you’re providing good content. And it’s always nice to spice it up with some humor so that your followers will be more likely to share your tweet.

Another way you can use Twitter to help your YouTube channel is by filming a Q&A video. Have your followers submit questions, then film a video where you answer them. It’s very easy and cheap to do, and with the user involvement, you’re sure to get more views. You can apply this tip to other social media outlets, as well.
