One of the keys to having a successful YouTube channel is uploading lots and lots of video production. You want lots of YouTube subscribers, but you don’t want to annoy them with constant emails all the time. The last thing you want is for your notifications to go straight into a fan’s junk mail folder or trash can.
Here’s a little YouTube hack that will let you upload plenty of video content without alienating or harassing your subscribers. When you’re actually uploading your video, make it private instead of public. After it’s online, go to the advanced settings. You’ll see the option “Notify subscribers” with a little check-marked box next to it. Uncheck it and change the video to public. No email subscription messages. Make sure you promote it to the full extent on social media.
