Chicago Shooting Up a Storm… There is a silver lining.
Shia LeBeouf, the original star of the Transformers remake, would be gracing us with his presence one again this summer—if he were in fact sharpening up his acting chops—after his last visit to the city he was brimming with excitement— quickly curbed after he found himself in a bit of a bind with the law. His arrest for challenging authority in a Walgreens helped him earn some bad boy credibility…
But this summer it is Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark for those of you who are old enough to remember him in his prime) who will be sweating under the summer sun.
The biggest film of the futuristic trio is director Michael Bay’s “Transformers 4,” which is expected to return in June and will shoot through mid October.
Executive producer and star of the film, Mark Wahlberg mentioned to the press that he would be house hunting and eventually subleasing while in Chicago. So all of you looking to sublease your apartment don’t forget to say hi to your mother for him.
In earlier interviews, Director Michael Bay promised that while “Transformers 4” would have “the same lineage, it’s going in a full, new, different direction” with a new cast and a new design that will feel natural as it moves on.
Oh and did we mention Stanley Tucci may be gracing Chicago with his presence as well? He is joining the cast of Transformers 4. We keep you updated on all things video in Chicago.
