Forrester, the influential technology research and analysis company, has revised their predictions for tablet purchases over the next few years, and the outlook is even more promising for current and would-be mobile brands.
The company expects 112.5 million adults, or one-third of the adult population, will own a tablet by 2016. A pretty substantial jump from their last prediction of 82.1 million adults. The announcement is partially based on the new iPad, and the success of other tablets such as the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet. These numbers are sure to effect many a video production company too.
