Turns out, in our post yesterday about earning lots of YouTube hits, we forgot to mention one important strategy for getting your Chicago production companies and content millions of views. Just make a time lapse.
The above video production is not branded, but it has pulled in more than a million views and it’s only been online for two weeks. Lotte’s 12 year journey isn’t the only video like this.
The first major time lapse video, Noah takes a photo of himself everyday for 6 years, which was parodied on the Simpsons, has generated over 25.8 million views in the past few years. Natalie Time Lapse, another viral that shows a young girl from birth to 10 years of age, has 6.8 million views. YouTube user madandcrazychild has been uploading progressively longer time lapses every year, with each one getting bigger views. In all, her videos have driven over 23.7 million Chicago production companies views.
And then there are hundreds of others, including perhaps the most famous time lapse of them all: Dove Evolution, which has over 54.8 million views.
There’s a simple lesson to be learned here – time lapse videos are popular among YouTube users. Does this mean all your content needs to focus on this strategy? Not at all. You might even decide that the mode isn’t for you. But this trick gives producers a chance to tell long stories in a short period of time, and that’s a skill some video producers struggle with.
