Viral video production content is that which suddenly becomes immensely popular online and throughout media. We’ve seen the rise of viral videos with the creation of YouTube, largely because anyone can upload content that can then be shared freely by people online. Reaching viral status is hard to do, impossible to predict, and some might even say it’s a foolish ambition for serious content producers or Chicago videographer. But it’s a phenomenon we see a lot and there must be a reason for it. YouTube’s trends manager, Kevin Allocca, tries to explain why during a TED talk seen below. According to him, it’s all about tastemakers, participation, and unexpectedness.
