YouTube launches a new analytics platform

Web analytics is a Chicago videographer tool used to track how online users engage websites and certain content. Based on the analytics tool you are using, details about specific pages, user demographics, and user habits can be used to tailor a site or content to a specific audience, perhaps even to make money. YouTube’s latest analytic tool offers unprecedented information about the way users engage specific video production and entire channels.

According to YouTube’s blog, the new tool offers:

  • A Quick Overview: A new overview provides all of the information that you care about quickly, while also enabling you to easily access more detailed information.
  • More Detailed Reports: Analytics now includes more detailed statistics so that you can have a more precise understanding of your content and audiences.
  • Audience Builders: Discover which videos are driving the most views and subscriptions.
  • Audience Retention: See how far viewers are watching through your video in the new audience retention report

Analytics users will also have access to other information such as audience demographics, top playback locations and top traffic sources. As written in a YouTube Analytics infographic, the detailed statistics are meant to produce a variety of outcomes.

“The simpler design helps you find and understand the information that you care about most. Moreover, you can now compare more metrics than ever to help you build bigger audiences, engage with them, earn more money and make better content.”
